- You've probably heard of the 80/20 rule which is that you get 80% of your results from 20% of your effort. Which sounds pretty awesome Until you realize that the last 20% of your project takes 80% of your time and you all wonder why my projects only ever get 80% finished.

SCHEDULED: <2025-04-23 Wed>
- The really insidious part of the 80/20 rule is that it is recursive so that last 20% of the work that takes 80% of your time you can get 80% of that finished and 20% of that time but you will never reach Perfection because for every hour long task that takes you 80% of the way there it'll take another hour to get 96% of the way there, 99.8% add another hour. It can be proven mathematically that no project is ever complete it is only ever good enough
- "Good Enough" is not a lazy response to a difficult project it is an engineering decision that everyone has to make
- Nothing is ever perfect everything is only ever "Good Enough"
